“SATURDAY 3 JANUARY: I AM AFRAID
I had a terrible dream yesterday with military helicopters and the Taleban. I have had such dreams since the launch of the military operation in Swat. My mother made me breakfast and I went off to school. I was afraid going to school because the Taleban had issued an edict banning all girls from attending schools.”
these are words of a 11 year girl.
“People do not leave their homeland on their own free will – only poverty or a lover usually makes you leave so rapidly.”
how thought full she is. I am amazed at her courage and confidence and i salute not only her but her parents also who had given her that space to think and explore her world. It is difficult to find a girl with such a confidence and enthusiasm  in socially or politically stable state and in the condition where she is, i don’t any other word then amazing.
She has given a courage to all female of the swat valley and world. from were it all starts? just a wish to study, which is a basic human right. Sitting in the world largest democracy, it is very easy to say that it is a basic human right. There are many points to ponder about Malala but for time being i pray for this kid and i wish her my life too. I wish all my sisters, mothers, aunts and friends to evoke hidden malala in themselves. In her case it is about education but in your’s it might be about eye teasing, social evils like dowry, domestic violence, and other constraints. Remember  always you are symbol of shakti..the hidden energy which run this whole universe.
