I wish you…

wish-pebbles-3
I wish you enough; enough of everything.
I wish you enough smiles to keep your cheeks tight,
I wish you enough happiness to keep yourself always upright,
I wish you enough pain so that you can treasure all small  bright spots of your life,
I wish you enough of sunshine to keep your days bright,
I wish you enough of moonlight that you can enjoy the darkness of night,
I wish you enough of success so that can catch the stars,
I wish you enough of failure so that you can appreciate your success,
I wish you enough love to keep you full till the dusk of  your life,

Sunny

Daffodils: by William Wordsworth

Courtesy to IRISH MEDICAL TIME

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed--and gazed--but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

I have been pierced by the arrow of love, what shall I do ?--------------Bulleh Shah

I have been pierced by the arrow of love, what shall I do ?
I can neither live, nor can I die.
Listen ye to my ceaseless outpourings,
I have peace neither by night, nor by day.
I cannot do without my Beloved even for a moment.
I have been pierced by the arrow of love, what shall I do ?
The fire of separation is unceasing !
Let someone take care of my love.
How can I be saved without seeing him?
I have been pierced by the arrow of love, what shall I do ?
O Bullah, I am in dire trouble !
Let someone come to help me out.
How shall I endure such torture ?
I have been pierced by the arrow of love,
what shall I do ?
I can neither live, nor can I die
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------He was lover of his guru and god. Moniker for his god was Ranjha / Heer. He always remember his god as a lover. He describe his feeling in metaphors and whenever I read him, it seem as if he wrote these poems for me only. I don’t know? what I am searching for but I am sure it is either god or Heer. as I wish, one day I too will  love like him.
I know who you are, I know who I am I know the truth and the meaning of love. God is singing within your heart breathing inside your breath more close than a hand within a glove or a thought within the head. If you listen, my friend, with an open heart you will know this declaration's true the Truth? You forgot some time ago the surprise - the revelation's you you wrote this poem yes, you back then when your heart was filled with ecstasy blind drunk on the clear wine of love. (Shah)

Mind Without Fear- R.Tagore

tumblr_m3katxSgU61r8gsoko1_500
Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up
into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason
has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action-Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------This work was translated by Mr. Tagore, when requested by Mr. William Rothenstein in 191. It appeared as a poem in “Gitanjali “ in 1912 published by The Indian society, Londan.
Later on, this same poem inspired many Indians to have a strong, dynamic and determined picture of self during struggle of freedom.

Few Line from Rabindranath’s Gitanjali

Who is this?
I Came out alone on my way to my tryst. But who is this that follows me in the silent darks?
I move aside to avoid his presence but escape him not.
he makes the dust rise from the earth with his swagger; he adds his loud voice to every word that I utter.
He is my own little self, my lord, he knows no shame; but I am ashamed to come to thy door in his company.
                                                  By R.Tagore
Poet is a painter who paints his imagination and thoughts with words. As paintings are multi dimensional so as the poems. Shrouded under webs of words, there lay many meanings and as per reader’s nature and enlightenment  one translate it .
My translation:
I am out on my journey all alone but I always found some one lingering around. My ego,  He has a name. my name, he is just absolute and growing with me, day by day. I try to avoid him by hearing my inner voice “my soul” but not able to get rid of him as he always wins to align me with  the requirements of this transient world. he creates lot of false halos around me.Which reflects in my all actions and words. I know him in and out because I am playing in hands of this ego.

OUR DEEPEST FEAR…….

55814000_640
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frighten us. We ask ourselves, who am i to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous ? You are child of god. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t fell insecure around you.We are all meant to shine, as children do. we were born to make manifest the glory of god that is within us. It’s not just in some of us;it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Good Morning Beautiful :)

good-morning-beautiful-brittany-h

Good morning beautiful ,

waking up and finding you around ,

knowing dawn is on and darkness has gone,

i realize everything is beautiful .

putting my brush across my cheeks brings

my energy to its peaks .thoughts of the day bring glow on my

face and traces of your smile makes me alive

and i realize everything is beautiful.

Good morning beautiful

Ecstatic poems

Ishq De Naween Naween Bahar | Bulleh Shah

Love-is-A-Precious-Word
Ishq dee naween naween bahar
Love is ever new and fresh
Jaan main sabq Ishq da parhya
Masjid kolon jeyorra darya
poch poch thakur dowrey warrya
Jithey wajdey naad hazaar
The day I learn the lesson of Love
I was scared of the mosque and dreaded fasts
I looked around and entered a temple
Where sounded many a drum-blast
-Ved, Quran parh parh thakey
Sajdey kardiyaan ghis gaye mathey
Na Rab Tayrath, na Rab Makkeh
Jis paya tas nur anwaar
Tired of reading the Vedas and Quran
Kneeling and prostrating my forehead shorn
At Mathura or Mecca He does not dwell
He who has found Him, only he can tell
Phok musaleh, bhun sat lota
Na parh tasbeh, aasa, sota
Ashiq kehndey dey dey hoka
“Tark hlaalon, kha murdar”
Burn the prayer mat, break the water pot
Quit the rosary, threw away the staff
Lovers say at the top of their voice
Leave the kosher and eat the shot
-Heer Ranjhey dey hogaye meeley
Bholi Heer dhondi beley
Ranjhan yaar baghal wich kheyley
Surt na rahya, surt sanbhaar
Heer and Ranjha have already met
In vain she looks for him in the orchard
Ranjha lies in the folds of her arms
Having her love, she has gained him hard

Ecstatic Poems:

Aa Mil Yaar | Bulleh Shah

sunset_love
Aa mil yaar saarley, Meri jaan dikhaan ney gyheri
Come my love take care of me,
I am in great agony.
Ander khawab vchora hoya, Khabar na payndi teri
Soni ban wich luti saiyaan, Soor palang ney gheyri

Ever separated, my dreams are dreary,
Looking for you, my eyes are weary.
All alone I am robbed in a desert,
Waylaid by a bunch of way words.
Mullan Qazi rah batawaan, Deen dharam dey pherey
Aye taan thag jugat dey jhaar, lawaanjaal chufereey

The Mullah and Qazi show me the way,
Their maze of Dharma that is in sway.
They are the confirmed thieves of time,
they spread their net saintly crime.
Karam sharo dey dharam batawan, Sangal pawan pereen
Zaat mazhab yeh ishq na pochdaa, Ishq shara da weri

Their time-worn norms are seldom right,
With these they chain my feet so toght.
My love cares not for caste or creed,
To the rituals faith I pay no heed.
Nadioon paar aye mulk sajan da, lehar lobh ney gheri
Satgor beri perhi khalotey, ten kion lai aweri

My Master lives on yonder bank,
While I am caught in the gale of greed.
With boat of anchor, He stands in wait,
I must hasten, I can’t be late.
Bulleh Shah sho tenoon milsi. Dil noo dey dileyri
Pritam pass tey tolna kis noon? bhlioon shaker dopheri

Bulleh Shah must find his love,
He needn’t have the last fright.
His love is around, yet he looks for Him,
Misled in the broad daylight.
Aa mil yaar saarley, Meri jaan dikhaan ney gyheri
Come my love take care of me,
I am in great agony.

Secret of Life

Ram Prasad Bismil , a true of son of land was a man of many qualities . Except being a freedom fighter ,he was quite into writing. We all know about “Sarfiroshi ki tamana “ , which is still a hot shot song in many Bollywood movies . I have a long association with this song. Being army ward and student of army school,We used to sing or hear this song quite oftenly . But this song is not only master piece of this master of words .Here i present with one of the unknown gazal of Mr. Bismil “Secret of life”.

Temporal to Eternal

When in every form there is the hint

of formless

and in every movement there is a

message of stillness

when in every thought there is a

whisper of silence

and in every finite space there is the

quest of infinite

when a form takes us from the

temporal to the eternal

it is then that akriti leads to sanskriti

that is beautifully Indian.

A drop from the ocean of Galib

dil-e-nadan tujhe hua kya hai

akhir is dard ki dawa kya hai

ham hain mushtaq aur wo bezar

ya ilahi ye majara kya hai

main bhi munh mein zaban rakhta hun

kash pucho k mudda kya hai

jab k tujh bin nahi koi maujud

phir ye hangama, ai Khuda kya hai

ye pari chehra log kaise hain

gamaza-o-ishwa-o-ada kya hai

shikan-e-zulf-e-ambari kyon hai

nigah-e-chashm-e-surma sa kya hai

sabza-o-gul kahan se aye hain

abr kya chiz hai hawa kya hai

hamko unse wafa ki hai ummid

jo nahi jante wafa kya hai

han bhala kar tera bhala hoga

aur darwesh ki sada kya hai

jan tum par nisar karta hun

main nahi janta dua kya hai

main ne mana k kuch nahi 'ghalib'

muft hath aye to bura kya hai

I may not be wise but my words are…

1292960850_owl-cartoon

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning but everyone can start today and make an apt ending .

Never obsesses with anything ,not even too your own thoughts .
Life is multiple  degree  equation and very few have that vision to solve it.
I hate “i” iota in mathematics and try to avoid it in life too .
To spread truemours at every opportunity in my life has been a wonderful lesson in happiness -one of the simplest and most profound as well.

Acts of Helplessness

Jalฤl ad-Dฤซn Muแธฅammad Rลซmฤซ,was a 13th-century Persian Muslim poet, jurist, theologian, and Sufi mystic. Rลซmฤซ is a descriptive name meaning "the Roman" since he lived most of his life in an area called Rลซm (then under the control of Seljuq dynasty) because it was once ruled by the Eastern Roman Empire. A writer who's poems are still relevant .it seems each and every word is bind together to make a coherent  act of human nature . Our worst enemy “helplessness “.

Here are the miracle-signs you want: that
you cry through the night and get up at dawn, asking,
that in the absence of what you ask for your day gets dark,
your neck thin as a spindle, that what you give away
is all you won, that you sacrifice belongings,
sleep, health, your head, that you often
sit down in a fire like aloes wood, and often go out
to meet a blade like a battered helmet.
When acts of helplessness become habitual,
those are the signs.
But you run back and forth listening for unusual events,
peering into faces of travelers.
“Why are you looking at me like a madman?”
I have lost a friend. Please forgive me.

Have no Fear…..

The secret of happiness to be free of fear .
Fear is like a toxin that runs through much
of our thinking.it feeds on insecurity ,feeling of loss,
loneliness ,inadequacy and attachment .You are
loveable and loving .Accept this as truth .
Appreciate and care for yourself -----
truly ,deeply ,intensely ,in a way that reflects your real
value .then you will have the same regard for all other living
beings and things….

Bulleh shah: few pearls from the basket of maestro.

“Bullay Noun Samjhawan Ayaan
Bheynaan Tay Bherjaiyaan
Man Lay Bulleya Sada Kena
Chad Day Pala Rayaan ”
English Verse:- (Faiza)
I Face The World With A Smile
No One Knows What Is Hiden Inside
They See Only Happiness
They Cant See The Tears I’ve Cried

An Arayeen is a cast. Bulleh Shah’s murshid was Inayat shah,
who was of the Arayan cast which is considered below the cast
of Syeds to which Bulleh Shah belonged.so his family dissapproved
of his associations with him
Aal Nabi Ullad Ali Noun
To Kyoun Leekaan Layaan
“Jeyra Saanoun Syed Saday
Dozukh Milan Sazaiyaan”
Aal Nabi Aulaad Ali ko tumne badnaam kiya hua hai
(in reference to this zaats waghera jo ghalat hai Jo mujhe
ab Sayed bole ga, usko saza mein dozakh miley (because
he denounced himself as being of higher cast as he believed
everyone was equal)

Why must I go to Kaaba
When I long for Takht Hazara?
People pay their homage to Kaaba
I bow before my Ranjha.

Remembering Ranjha day and night,
I’ve become Ranjha myself.
Call me Dhido Ranjha,
No more I be addressed as Heer.
I abuse Ranjha but adore him in my heart.
Ranjha and Heer are a single soul,
No one could ever set them apart.

In my passion of union with him,
I’ve lost all count of form;
I laid my bed in the public park
And went to sleep in my lover’s arms.
I am broken, I am bent,
Tell him how I am pining for him;
My disheveled hair, with the tying band in my hand,
Feel not embarrassed, do go and tell him oh messenger!
